Lumawear started during a time when life looked very different than I had planned.

After becoming a mom and being diagnosed with NMOSD and Lupus, I made the difficult decision to step away from medical school and focus on my health and family. During that time, I met countless healthcare professionals who showed up with compassion, kindness, and support when I needed it most.

They brought light into some of my darkest days.
Their impact inspired me to revisit a dream I had carried for years: creating a scrub brand for the people who dedicate their lives to caring for others.
That's where the name Lumawear comes from. Luma means light — a reminder of the light healthcare professionals bring to their patients, families, and communities every single day.

We created Lumawear to support the people behind the care with thoughtfully designed scrubs that combine comfort, function, and confidence for every shift. Because while healthcare professionals spend their days lifting others up, they deserve a brand that's here to lift them up too.
